9/20/2020 0 Comments September 20th, 2020This week I played two nine hole rounds of golf, and I also went to the driving range at Tanglewood Park. My main focus this week was to hit my drives straight and into the fairway. During my first round of nine I started off with a slice which is when the ball has a spin on it to make it curve to the right. This is caused by your swing path going out to in instead of straight. I worked on this throughout the round and got to where my ball flight was straight and down the middle of the fairway. During my second round of golf this week I started off hitting the ball pretty straight, but as the round went on I slowly started to hit a fade. This is when your ball travels slightly to the right in the air. This is caused by your swing path being just a little in to out. Driving the ball is one of the hardest aspects of the game, although it is only one aspect of the game. To reach my goal I will have to continue to hit the ball straight so I can focus on my mid and short game. Look at this picture of a straight ball, sliced ball, and a ball that has a draw!!!
